Privacy
Your privacy, and your guests’
Short version: nothing is saved while you design. When you order, we keep what we need to publish your wedding site and contact you. Guests’ replies are seen only by the couple and by us, and are deleted whenever you ask.
No tracking
WeDo and the wedding sites we host don’t use analytics, advertising trackers or tracking cookies.
While you design
The studio runs in your browser and saves nothing on your device: refreshing or leaving the page clears it. Your photos are resized on your device and sent only when you order (or save an update with your edit link).
When you order
We store your design (text, colours, theme, photos, the plan you chose and, on Premium, any song you upload) and the name, mobile number, email and notes you gave us. They’re kept in a database with Cloudflare, our host. We also receive your order by email through our form service, Web3Forms.
- Public, once we confirm your payment: your wedding site at wedo-ph.pages.dev/your-names shows what you put on it. It isn’t listed on Google or other search engines unless you ask us to list it, so it’s found mainly by the people you share it with.
- Private: your contact details and notes are only for us, to confirm your order and help you.
- Your private links: we send you a link to edit your site (it works until 30 days after your wedding) and a link to your RSVP dashboard. Anyone with these links can use them, so keep them to yourselves. We can replace either link at any time; the old one then stops working.
When guests reply (RSVP)
Guests give their name, whether they’ll attend, the number of guests and, if the couple asks, meal choices, their companions’ names and a message. These replies are stored with the couple’s site and can be seen only by the couple (in their private dashboard) and by WeDo. We use them only to show the couple who’s coming.
- The couple can delete any reply from their dashboard, and we can delete all of a site’s replies on request.
- Taking a site down deletes its replies and personal guest links too.
- If the couple turns on email alerts, each reply is also sent to the couple’s own email through Web3Forms, under its privacy policy as well as ours.
- Guests who want their reply removed can ask the couple, or message us.
Spam protection
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam: it checks that a person is sending an order or a reply. Turnstile’s handling of data is covered by Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum. To limit abuse, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for two days.
Taking your site down
Ask us at any time and we’ll take your site down. That deletes your design, photos, music, guest links and RSVP replies. The address itself stays reserved, so a link already shared or printed on an invitation can never open someone else’s wedding.
